The window of a mosque in Istanbul. The space around the window becomes an alcove, into which people can enter. On the interior, a wooden door allows for the opening and closing of the alcove space. On the exterior, a fixed window is fitted above a set of double-swinging doors, in front of which is installed an iron grille.
